If I Die Tomorrow
If I die tomorrow
Don't shed tears on my shroud,
Rather sow a seed beside my grave
That shall grow as a plant and sprout.
Come and see me whenever you like
Utter your prayers to the almighty,
But tend the plant you sowed
As it also remains lonly and thirsty.
Your love and prayer shall abate my sufferings
As our lord bestows mercy upon me,
Share that love and mercy with the neighboring plant
For it alleviates my sins and increases good deeds in me.
Love that arbor and nurture it the way you loved me
So it grows and matures everyday,
Tie it to your heart as you kept me there
So your love in my soul reflects as its leaves ripple and sway.
Expand your love for me
You do so, by allowing others to rest under that tree,
There's a little for you and me in this life
Since, we look forward to our lord's endless love; happiness and glee.
If I die tomorow
Know and let know that we all depart one day,
But all we take back are our faith, love, and deeds
Thus we complete a full-circle through death and decay.
For the almighty creator we come from
To the almighty lord we return.
